DONATION DRIVE FOR THE CARING PLACE - 11/13 THRU 12/20

During the months of November and December, Beverly Bobcats are learning about the character traits of gratitude and empathy. The Beverly Kindness Crew, in partnership with the Beverly PTA and Beverly Cares Program, will have a donation drive for The Caring Place. The Caring Place is a Plano ISD sponsored program designed to help families navigate the enrollment and transfer process and remove barriers to education. The center connects families to community and state resources, hosts immunization clinics and helps with immediate needs. The Caring Place serves as a food pantry and clothes closet, and is made possible by the generosity of our community. Thank you to those of you who have already donated! The “Beverly Way” is the BEST way!

We are also raising our prize goals to achieve 1,000 items and 2,000 items. Stay tuned for the reward for our Beverly Bobcats!!!

PLEASE NOTE: Dented and expired items cannot be accepted. Please make sure donated items are good for an extended time. We also are not able to accept individual items that have been taken out of a variety or multi-pack. (IE: individual bags of gummy snack bags must be in their complete package or an individual pack of crackers is not accepted). These items will not be counted in a grade level’s totals.

Here's how you can participate and make a difference:

  • Gather items that are on the list below. (Note: Dented cans will not be accepted by donation centers!)
  • Encourage your friends, classmates, and family to join in.
  • Bobcats can Drop off donations outside of their grade level from November 13th to December 20th.
  • Each item donated earns points for your grade level.
  • Watch the competition unfold on our social media pages!

The winning grade level will get a dance party with Mrs. Williams (dressed as a snow-woman) during their Winter party.  If we exceed our goal by 100, Mr. Porter will get pied in the face during our Winter Assembly!

Let's come together as a community and make this holiday season brighter for those who need it most. Your support means the world to us and to the individuals and families served by The Caring Place.
