SENIOR RECEPTION - THE ELIZABETH AND THOMAS KIRBY SCHOLARSHIP

Calling all Bobcats Class of 2024!

The Elizabeth and Thomas Kirby Scholarship is now accepting applications and are due on May 1st. Each year, Elizabeth Kirby, Beverly Elementary's founding principal, joins with the Beverly PTA in funding this scholarship in memory of her son, Thomas B. Kirby, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 44. If you attended Beverly Elementary for at least 4 years, you're eligible to apply. Please see applications details HERE.

The winner will be announced at the Senior Reception on May 16, 4:30-6PM. All current high school seniors who attended Beverly Elementary are invited. Parent/guardians are welcome to come.

APRIL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - 4/18 @6:00PM

Join us for our April PTA General Membership Meeting on April 18th at 6:00PM. This meeting will be held VIRTUALLY online via Zoom.

SPRING BOOK FAIR - APR 1 THRU APR 5

It's Book Fair time and that new book smell is in the air!

The Book Fair is going on NOW throughFriday, April 5th. It will be open at the Beverly Library during school hours, with extended hours on Friday, April 5th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by our Spring Social - Outdoor Movie night!

The Book Fair is always a great time to empower your young reader with a wide selection of books to choose from and support their reading journey! Find out more on our school's Fair homepage HERE.

If you would like your child to purchase books from the book fair, remember to send money in with your child in a ziploc bag or to make the shopping experience even more convenient, parents have the opportunity to set up a secure eWallet account for their Bobcat, allowing for cashless transactions and stress-free browsing. Our teachers have also selected books they would like for their classroom library, so remember to shop the fair for the teacher's wish list! Please look for the wish list basket labeled with your Bobcat's teacher's name at the book fair!

SPRING SOCIAL - OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT 4/5 @ 6-8:30PM

Please join us for an outdoor movie Friday, April 5th. We will be showing Toy Story 2! This event is free for our Beverly families.

Pack a picnic, blanket and chairs and come enjoy an evening with your Beverly friends on the playground.

Everyone in attendance will be given a ticket to enter for a chance to win a school supply pack for next year! (One giveaway per grade.)

Before the movie starts, you will also have an opportunity to shop the book fair!

SPIRIT NIGHT @ CHIPOTLE - 4/10

Come support Beverly Elementary at Chipotle! This is an event you won't want to miss. Take a break from cooking and enjoy a delicious dinner from Chipotle.

SOLAR ECLIPSE - TREATS FOR TEACHERS

The solar eclipse is Monday, April 8, and our Hospitality team wants to make the event even more memorable for our Beverly Teachers and staff by surprising them with an assortment of celestial treats!

To make it happen, we would really appreciate your help with a few items.

FIELD DAY - VOLUNTEERS, SAVE THE DATE AND COMPLETE YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK!

Save the Date! Field day is scheduled for May 17th. We will need parent volunteers for the event, and only those with a completed background check will be eligible to participate. To prepare for this, we ask all parents intending to volunteer to ensure they have completed a background check on VOLY if you have not completed one for this school year.
