All are welcome at our PTA Meeting! Join us, Thursday, January 16 (TODAY), 6:30pm, after the Science Fair Open House.

Beverly PTA offers school supplies that are bundled and delivered to the classroom for our kids each year. The ordering process for next year's school supply begins in February. We have a couple volunteers so far, and we are looking for more volunteers to help!  Most of the work can be done from your house during off work hours.  If you are interested in helping please send us an email to waysandmeans@beverlypta.com

**TODAY!** Science Fair open house and PTA reception is on Thursday, January 16, beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by the PTA meeting and reception for all Science Fair participants. Participants should take projects home after the open house.

Group and Individual picture day is tomorrow, Friday, January 17, 2020.  Every student has received two order forms, one for group/class photos and one for individual photos. Just like in the fall, one order per envelope. The easiest way to order is online which is very easy and convenient.

Online Auction is quickly approaching and we need your help to make sure this fundraiser is our best one yet.  How can you help?

- Do you own a business and are willing to donate goods or services?  The PTA is a non-profit so get in whatever donation you can now for the 2019 tax calendar year!
- Do you work for a company that has a non profit donation program?  Many larger employers have donation programs for non-profits that have affiliation with their employees (Toyota, American Airlines, etc) and will donate everything from money to services. Often this is a application submission and adds huge value for the PTA!
- Do you have some time and can send out letters requesting donations, making phone calls or driving by to ask for support?  We have a list of past donors, we just need your help reaching back out to request their donation again this year.
- Do you have time to drive to pick up donations? We will arm you with donation request letters and address information.  Just pick up the donation and return it to the school.
Do you want to get to know a few other parents at Beverly?  Each year we do a "donation run" on a Saturday morning.  Parents will go together to stores in the local area requesting donations and celebrate with a lunch after.

If you are interested in any of these options, please email Bethany Azad at waysandmeans@beverlypta.com

Please see the letter below from Nurse Kriska. We will miss her!

Dear Beverly Families,

As we prepare to leave for the winter break, I wanted to express to you how much I enjoy caring for the students at Beverly Elementary. The smiling faces of the students tells me that this is a special place and I believe that amazing things happen within these walls.

I am sad to share that I will not be returning to Beverly Elementary in January. It was a difficult decision, but my new position will allow me to care for many sick children. I know that the nurse that takes this position will do a fabulous job taking care of your children.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your student’s educational experience. I wish you much health and happiness in the future.

Warmly,

Jennifer Kriska MSN, APRN, CPNP, NCSN
