We are happy to announce 2019 Beverly Reflections Recognition Ceremony taking place on February 4, 2020 at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. All participants and winners will be recognized and awarded certificates. Light snacks and drinks are provided for participants. If you are curious what Reflections is about and have never participated, come and join us too! 2020 Reflections theme will be kicked off during the ceremony as well. We hope to be joined by and see many Beverly families then!  

**DUE TOMORROW** Beverly STOP Club is doing a toy drive for the Children's hospital to bring joy to patients who are undergoing treatments there. Please bring NEW and unwrapped toys to school before January 31. There's a box at the school entrance by the glass door to drop off your donations. Here are some examples of things that are accepted:

- activity books
- craft supplies
- mini LEGOs
- plushies or squishies
- puzzles
- toy figurines

**TODAY!** Science Fair open house and PTA reception is on Thursday, January 16, beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by the PTA meeting and reception for all Science Fair participants. Participants should take projects home after the open house. 

Group and Individual picture day is tomorrow, Friday, January 17, 2020.  Every student has received two order forms, one for group/class photos and one for individual photos. Just like in the fall, one order per envelope. The easiest way to order is online which is very easy and convenient.

Dear Beverly Families,

As we prepare to leave for the winter break, I wanted to express to you how much I enjoy caring for the students at Beverly Elementary. The smiling faces of the students tells me that this is a special place and I believe that amazing things happen within these walls.

I am sad to share that I will not be returning to Beverly Elementary in January. It was a difficult decision, but my new position will allow me to care for many sick children. I know that the nurse that takes this position will do a fabulous job taking care of your children.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your student’s educational experience. I wish you much health and happiness in the future.

Tomorrow, December 13, any grandparents or family members or special “grand-friends” are invited to come and join students for lunch, and then visit the Book Fair! You can bring your own lunch or purchase one from the cafeteria. Below is a list of each grade level's lunch time:

Did your child lose their jackets, water bottles, etc, at school? Please remind them to look for those at our Lost and Found boxes in the cafeteria. Or, be sure to visit our Lost and Found cafe Monday, December 16 at 8am. Please come and get them! Items will be donated if not picked up.

**DUE TOMORROW** Call for entries from 4th and 5th graders! The Field Day t-shirt design contest starts today and ends December 13th. 4th and 5th graders only will receive the entry form in PE this week. Please contact one of our PE coaches with questions!
