Watch D.O.G.S. program is coming to Beverly!
Orientation/Kick-Off is TONIGHT September 27 at 6 pm.
DADS, GRANDPAS, MALE ROLE MODELS - WE NEED YOU!
Please join us on Thursday, September 27th 6-7pm in the Beverly Cafeteria as we kick off a new Watch D.O.G.S. program. Come find out what the Watch D.O.G.S. program is all about and sign up for your day to be a part of our fabulous Beverly Elementary School Team! Pizza will be served. (Please leave kiddos at home, if possible.)

Open October 1-5: M,T,Th until 6pm Wed/Fri until 4pm

During the Book Fair, we will be collecting money to buy books for children undergoing treatments at Children's Medical Center, Plano. Please donate to this worthy cause.

State Fair Luncheon
The Beverly Hospitality team is hosting a state fair luncheon for our wonderful staff and teachers on Tuesday, October 2, 2018!!
The hospitality lunch will be catered by Golden Chick and will have state fair themed dessert.

Volunteer of the Month for October 2018
We are excited to announce Lanay Cearley as our October 2018 PTA Volunteer of the Month! Lanay has a son in kindergarten, and she also has two little ones at home. She has jumped right in to volunteer life at Beverly as one of the Kindergarten Grade Level Coordinators, a Kindergarten room parent, and she also helps with lunch duty and hallway work. Thank you so much for all you do, Lanay. Enjoy your reserved "Volunteer of the Month" parking spot in the front parking lot this month!

PISD Parenting Workshops for Fall
PISD offers various parenting workshops.
Currently there are two series - one about parenting children with ADHD and one on Strong-Willed Children.
There are also one time Back to Basics workshops.

Walk to School Day 
Wednesday, October 10
Have fun, make your body and mind stronger, and reduce pollution by walking to school on National Walk to School Day, Wednesday, October 10! When you get to school, meet some special guests, have a healthy snack, and sign the “I Walked” banner.
Parents are invited to join their kids in the gym for our annual Bobcats Rock the Walk Fun Run pep rally immediately after walking to school.
You’ll learn the awesome theme for this popular family fundraiser, which will be on Friday, October 19, from 6-9 p.m.
Yearbook
This year, the Beverly Yearbook will be focused on providing a special edition 20th anniversary yearbook. The front cover will be designed to match this years theme, Bobcats Tell Their Story…A journey into the past, present, and future of our school.
The yearbook team will be welcoming artwork submissions centered around the theme from Beverly Students and Staff to be used throughout the book.
Artwork submissions will be collected until October 15.
