BOOK FAIR

Our generous Bobcats raised over $800 to buy books for children receiving treatments at Children's Medical Center.  As a reward, they will get to see many of their favorite Beverly staff in costume at the next Bobcat Assembly.

The book fair is staffed by parent volunteers and our librarian, Mrs. Quirl.  Thanks to all who donated their time so that we could stay open late in the evenings.

Book Fair profits are used to pay for the Accelerated Reader program,  books for the library, and other library learning materials.

Thank you for supporting our book fair! See you again April 24-May 3.

Calling interested 4th Grade & 5th Grade Students!

The Community Outreach Team will be starting a new Pen Pal Project this school year!

Beverly PTA’s Community Outreach has partnered with The Heritage At Twin Creeks, an Assisted Living and Memory Care home.

The purpose of this project is to bridge the generations by getting to know and interact with each other through handwritten letters.

Please contact communityoutreach@beverlypta.com if your child is interested. Let’s get to know our Community!

SOCKtober Sock Drive will be held from October 15 – 26!

Students may bring in new pairs of socks to donate to those in need.

For every 5 pairs of socks a student donates, they will receive a Socktober coupon that they can use to wear crazy socks to school on the day of their choice.

Students may turn their socks in to their classroom teacher to redeem their coupon any day during the drive.

Last year, Student Council collected over 6,000 socks!  Two different Plano shelters benefited greatly from our donations and we would love to donate even more.

Please join Beverly STUCO in supporting this cause so we can make sure everyone has warm toes this Winter season!

STOP COAT DRIVE!

Begins Wednesday, October 10th through October 26th!

Please donate your gently used or new winter coats to benefit Plano Clothes Closet. We will also accept warm winter clothing and outerwear such as mittens, hats, scarves, and sweaters. Plano Clothes Closet desperately needs donations of all sizes, including adults, to keep our community members warm this winter.

Coats and clothing can be left in the Coat Drive box located near the front office of the school.

STOP members will deliver the coats and clothing to Plano Clothes Closet on November 14th.
