Beverly Fundraising Survey
Please give us your input about our fundraisers by answering a short 5 question survey here.
We appreciate your response by March 1 to better help us plan for 2018-19 fundraisers prior to the vote during our March General PTA Meeting.
We are currently searching for volunteers to fill the following positions.
Co-Chair In Person Solicitation
Data Entry Printing / Graphics
A significant portion of the PTA budget comes from our online auction. Field trips, teacher technology, class parties, and more are made possible through fundraising contributions. Assisting with the auction makes a huge impact with a minimal time commitment.

Hygiene Kit Drive 2/12-2/23
Help us collect items for hygiene kits for local children! These kits are distributed to school nurses and counselors so they can help kids in need. Help improve local children’s health and confidence by donating the following items:
Toothbrushes, toothpastes, floss, bar soap, small hand sanitizers, washcloths, combs, brushes, deodorant, and small tissue packs.
Bring the items to the school entrance where there will be boxes set up for collection. Members of the STOP club will help assemble the kits after we finish the drive. For any questions or if you have connections to organizations or people who could help provide more items for our kits, please contact Sarah Ganbat at email@example.com
The committee to review the PTA By-laws has met and proposes the following changes:
1) Local dues: *four dollars and fifty cents ($4.50) staff, seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) single, nine dollars ($9.00) dual. This will bring the total cost of memberships to $9 staff, $12 single, and dual will stay the same at $18 (total price include state and national dues).
2) Meetings: Quorum shall be 10. The change is reducing from 20 to 10 the required members in attendance at a general meeting.
3) Executive Board Composition: *others: Faculty representative, council delegate(s). The change is to remove HISTORIAN from our executive board composition.
Our complete and current by-laws can be found HERE. The proposed changes will be voted on by the general membership at our next meeting on March 8th at 6PM. If you have questions, please contact Naomi Calle, Parliamentarian at firstname.lastname@example.org

The Volunteer of the Month for January is...
If you are ever at school during lunch time, you may have seen Bret doing lunch duty for one of his two Bobcats' grades, kindergarten and third. He also puts the announcements on the school marquee and opens the doors every day at dismissal. He even helps with the First Grade Bobcat Store even though he doesn't have a first grader this year. He is always willing to help do anything he is asked to do. Bret, thank you for all that you do for Beverly!
Student PTA MembershipDid you know that your student can be a member of our PTA? Here are seven reasons for your student to join Beverly PTA:

- So that THEY get to decide how their school will serve and affect THEM
- Receive access to scholarships
- Enjoy benefits and discounts
- Share their own ideas and let their voice be heard
- Positively impact their community through service
- Make a difference for their generation and the following generations to come.
LUNCH DUTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The teachers in most grade levels are in need of lunch duty volunteers. This is a fun way to see your child at school while helping in the cafeteria. Sign ups are ongoing on the lunch duty calendar for each grade level, and ANY help is appreciated!! Please log in to your account for more information and to sign up to help.
A World Wear Project textiles recycling bin has been placed in our north parking lot. For every pound collected from you, our PTA receives $0.15 per pound. The benefit to you? Neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, and kitchens, and the knowledge that less textile waste will end up in our local landfills. Please see the list below of items that can be donated and remember no items may be left outside of the bin.
We, your PTA, and school administrators are making a year-long commitment in identifying and implementing an action plan for school improvement based on PTA's National Standards for Family-School Partnerships. Questions? Want to join the Excellence Team? Email Lauren, firstname.lastname@example.org
