CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Monday, Nov 13th through Friday, Dec. 1st.

The canned food drive is sponsored by the Student Council. Donate canned goods or nonperishable food items. All donations will be given to people in need!

Our goal this year is 4600 cans. The grade level that collects the most cans will win an extra 15 minute recess and the teachers will decide when to use it.

VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECKS

Have you done your background check this year???  This is required annually by PISD.  The Holiday luncheon is coming on 12/12, and the class parties are on 12/20!  Volunteers will be needed!!  If you have not done so yet this year, PLEASE update your PISD volunteer background check by clicking HERE.  Questions?  Email volunteers@beverlypta.com

STOP COAT DRIVE

through Wednesday, December 6th

Please donate your gently used or new winter coats to benefit Plano Clothes Closet. We will also accept warm winter clothing and outerwear such as mittens, hats, scarves, and sweaters. Plano Clothes Closet desperately needs donations of all sizes to keep our community members warm this winter.

Coats and clothing can be left in the Coat Drive box located near the front office of the school. STOP members will deliver the coats and clothing to Plano Clothes Closet on December 7th.

RECYCLING NEVER MADE MORE CENTS

A World Wear Project textiles recycling bin has been placed in our north parking lot. For every pound collected from you, our PTA receives $0.15 per pound.  The benefit to you? Neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, and kitchens, and the knowledge that less textile waste will end up in our local landfills. Please see the list below of items that can be donated and remember no items may be left outside of the bin.
