FRIDAY - You Can Count on Beverly Bobcats
Today you can choose to wear a shirt with numbers on it or just wear a Beverly Bobcats shirt! Bobcats shine because we care!

Beverly PTA's Annual Online Auction is headed your way February 18- February 27, 2022! This is a fun annual tradition and a major fundraiser that help funds PTA programs for your students like classroom parties, field trips, online curriculum, field day, AR, and more! 

We are working on putting together fun items and experiences to bid on, such as teachers and staff experiences, reserved parking spaces, and even some packages for a fun staycation, family movie night, etc. Stay tune and we will announce more details this week!

Finastra is once again working with Plano ISD to hold four more after-school coding opportunities for students in grades 3 – 5.

· Monday, February 28 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

· Monday, March 28 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

· Monday, April 25 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

· Monday, May 16 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Parents interested in having their students participate should sign up by Friday, February 18, 2022. Here’s a link to the letter to share with parents in English and Spanish.

Save the Date! Field day is April 14. We are asking students to wear T-shirts in their grade level color. Students may wear a t-shirt from home, or you may purchase from a retailer. The shirt can have a design that is school appropriate. This is not a requirement and strictly voluntary. It not only looks awesome when students wear the same color, it makes it easy to identify students!

GRADE LEVEL COLORS:

Kindergarten: Yellow
1st Grade: Neon Green
2nd Grade: Red
3rd Grade: Orange
4th Grade: Blue
5th Grade: Black or the 5th Grade shirt

Parent volunteers are needed! Only CLEARED volunteers are allowed to help on Field Day, so if you haven't, make sure to start your application process and get background checked now. Note that we have a NEW volunteering system this year called VOLY. Click here to apply.

Show your 5th grader student how special they are with a personalized ad in the 2021-2022 Yearbook. You can design and personalize your own ad with your student's pictures and special notes from you! Don't worry, there are tons of template available and it is very easy to design! Quarter-page ad (1/4) and Eight-page ad (1/8) available.

We are so excited to announce that we are once again open to lunch visitors and cafeteria volunteers.

Lunch Visitors, please abide by the following district guidelines:

• Parents will be allowed to eat lunch with their child on campuses where space is available.

  • Non-school age siblings are not allowed.

  • Parents may only eat with their child. Their child is not allowed to invite a friend

  • Parents may not sit with their child's class.

• Beverly Guidelines: (sign-ups are no longer necessary)

  • Parents are invited to come for lunch once per month per child

  • Limit to One parent per visit.

Each year, Texas PTA is honored to recognize educators and administrators who exemplify our mission to engage and empower families through meaningful connections, including with their school PTA. The 2022 Outstanding Educators will be honored with a crystal award at this year's LAUNCH and receive special recognition by Texas PTA at a school district meeting.

The deadline for nominations is February 16, 2022.
