Our Fun Run is Tomorrow, 6-9pm!

Our Fun Run is this Friday from 6-9PM in front of Beverly*, and we still need your help!

We are currently at 56% of our goal, and we have this week to hit our target of $10,000.  The funds raised are absolutely vital to maintain class field trips, the AR reading program, and many other student programs that our PTA provides.  Without the funds, programs are at risk of being cut.

Even if your student can’t attend the Fun Run, they can still raise funds and help their school!  Create a student star video for your student and share the link with family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to earn prizes and help Beverly too.  Just head over to to get started.

All pledging can be done online and it is super easy.  Also, don’t forget to ask your student about what they have learned this week from the Mindspark Mystery Lab videos!

Kona Ice will be selling treats and Spirit Wear will be sold.

*In the event of rainy weather, we will do a Hero Fit challenge in the gym.

Beverly Elementary 20th Anniversary Shirts are available for PRE-ORDER!

Shirts can be ordered online at Orders must be placed by November 1st.

Calling interested 4th Grade & 5th Grade Students!

The Community Outreach Team will be starting a new Pen Pal Project this school year!

Beverly PTA’s Community Outreach has partnered with The Heritage At Twin Creeks, an Assisted Living and Memory Care home.

The purpose of this project is to bridge the generations by getting to know and interact with each other through handwritten letters.

Please contact if your child is interested. Let’s get to know our Community!

SOCKtober Sock Drive will be held from October 15 – 26!

Students may bring in new pairs of socks to donate to those in need.
For every 5 pairs of socks a student donates, they will receive a Socktober coupon that they can use to wear crazy socks to school on the day of their choice.
Students may turn their socks in to their classroom teacher to redeem their coupon any day during the drive.
Last year, Student Council collected over 6,000 socks!  Two different Plano shelters benefited greatly from our donations and we would love to donate even more.
Please join Beverly STUCO in supporting this cause so we can make sure everyone has warm toes this Winter season!

Begins Wednesday, October 10th through October 26th!

Please donate your gently used or new winter coats to benefit Plano Clothes Closet. We will also accept warm winter clothing and outerwear such as mittens, hats, scarves, and sweaters. Plano Clothes Closet desperately needs donations of all sizes, including adults, to keep our community members warm this winter.

Coats and clothing can be left in the Coat Drive box located near the front office of the school.

STOP members will deliver the coats and clothing to Plano Clothes Closet on November 14th.

Thanks for Walking with Us!

A big thank you to all the students and adults who walked to school last week!

It was great spending time together, getting exercise, and helping our environment! We are grateful to the Plano police department officers who greeted us, and the Allen police department who helped us walk safely.

Thank you also to the Alma and Hedgcoxe Tom Thumb and Plano Sprouts for donating our healthy snacks!
